Important terms for using Local HVAC Match.

Marketplace role
Local HVAC Match provides contractor information and a marketplace introduction service. Local HVAC Match is not an HVAC contractor and is not a party to the service agreement between a homeowner and an HVAC company.
No guarantee of contractor work
Public information, verification status, license checks, reviews and matching information are intended to help research and selection. They are not guarantees of workmanship, pricing, availability, insurance, future licensing status, safety or outcome. Users should independently evaluate a contractor before hiring.
Homeowner requests and contact authorization
By submitting a shared HVAC request and checking the contact authorization, you ask Local HVAC Match to review the information and, when appropriate, share the request and your contact details with no more than two selected participating HVAC companies. Those companies may contact you by ordinary person-to-person call, text, or email about that HVAC request. This permission is request-specific, is not a condition of purchase, and may be withdrawn.
The Local HVAC Match authorization does not grant permission for unrelated marketing, resale of homeowner information, prerecorded/artificial/AI-voice telemarketing, or broad promotional campaigns.
Direct company messages
If you use the Message button on a contractor profile, you are choosing to send your information to that one company. The contractor may then follow up with you directly by phone, text, or email. Local HVAC Match does not provide a homeowner chat inbox or two-way website messaging system.
Contractor use of homeowner information
Homeowner information supplied through Local HVAC Match is provided only for responding to the specific HVAC request or direct homeowner message. Contractors must follow the current Contractor Contact Rules, including request-only use, no sale or forwarding of homeowner data, prompt handling of stop/no-contact requests, and restrictions on unrelated promotional use.
Contractor billing and Free Start
Verified contractors that complete contractor portal setup may receive a one-time Free Start allowance of three matched homeowner requests (routed leads) and three direct homeowner messages at no usage charge. After those credits are used, delivered opportunities are billed at the contractor's then-current saved rate. Contractors can view rates, set a monthly usage spending limit, pause new opportunities, review charge history, and request review of an individual charge through the contractor portal.
Premium Profile is a separate optional paid feature. Premium may display the contractor's saved phone number and website publicly. Premium does not provide verification, improve organic ranking, or count as a Free Start credit.
Payment methods and automatic billing
When Stripe payment collection is enabled, contractors may save a payment method for future off-session charges. By saving a payment method and continuing to receive paid opportunities, the contractor authorizes Local HVAC Match to charge that saved payment method for valid matched-request and direct-message usage recorded in the Local HVAC Match billing ledger. Usage charges may be grouped and collected on a weekly schedule. Premium is billed separately as a recurring monthly subscription unless Local HVAC Match grants an administrative Premium override.
Contractors can update their payment method through the contractor portal. If an automatic payment fails or requires additional action, new paid opportunities may be paused until billing is resolved. Free Start credits are not charged.
Billing reviews and credits
A contractor may request review of a charge for issues such as duplicate opportunities, unusable contact information, requests outside the contractor's service area, non-HVAC requests, or technical delivery problems. A review request does not automatically guarantee a credit or refund.
Reviews
Review submissions must reflect a genuine interaction or service experience. Fraud, impersonation, spam, threats and disclosure of private information are prohibited. Contractors may dispute reviews, but legitimate negative reviews are not removed merely because a contractor objects.
Accuracy and corrections
Public information can change. Users and businesses may report inaccurate information through our Contact page. Local HVAC Match may update, remove or hold a listing when information cannot be supported.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse forms, scrape private workflows, submit false identities, interfere with site security, attempt to bypass spending or eligibility controls, or use homeowner data for unauthorized purposes.
Contact
Questions, complaints or correction requests can be submitted through Contact Local HVAC Match.
