Trust & verification

Clear labels instead of vague badges.

We separate public information we have checked, direct company verification, and Local HVAC Match reviews so homeowners can see where each trust signal came from.

What we may check

What “license info checked” does not mean

It does not mean we guarantee workmanship, pricing, availability, customer satisfaction, or future license status. Homeowners should still make their own hiring decision.

Listing status

Unclaimed means the profile was created from factual public information and has not yet been directly confirmed with the company.

Verified appears only after we have spoken with or otherwise directly confirmed the company and its core profile information. Verification is a status check, not a guarantee of workmanship, pricing, availability, or customer satisfaction.

Local HVAC Match Reviews

Our reviews are not copied from other review sites. Homeowners may submit a Local HVAC Match review from a company profile, and homeowners connected through a Local HVAC Match request may also receive a private review invitation. Reviews are moderated before publication, and their source is labeled clearly. Legitimate positive and negative feedback may be published.

A Service confirmed label means our internal route record indicates the contractor reported winning/completing the job connected to that homeowner request. A review without that label can still be a legitimate review of communication, estimate experience, responsiveness, or another interaction after being connected through Local HVAC Match.

How ranking works

Payment does not automatically make a company the “best” result. Matching should be based on relevance to the homeowner’s request and, as the marketplace develops, real performance signals. Review volume or rating can become one input, but it should not replace service fit, geography, response behavior, or homeowner choice.
