Local HVAC Match review policy
Homeowners can submit reviews directly from company profiles, while matched homeowners may also receive private review invitations.
Who can review
A homeowner can submit a review directly from a published company profile. Homeowners introduced to a contractor through Local HVAC Match may also receive a private review invitation tied to that marketplace request.
Review source labels
Reviews submitted from a public company profile are labeled “Public website review.” Reviews tied to a homeowner request routed through Local HVAC Match are labeled “Connected through Local HVAC Match.” These labels are not interchangeable.
Service confirmed
“Service confirmed” is used only when our route/outcome records support that the homeowner hired the company. A review can still describe an introduction or communication experience without that label.
Moderation
Reviews may be rejected or removed for spam, fraud, threats, private information, impersonation, or content unrelated to the marketplace experience. Legitimate negative reviews are not removed simply because a contractor disputes them.
Contractor disputes
A contractor may flag a review for investigation. A dispute does not automatically hide the review. We may request supporting information before making a moderation decision.
